Question What's the most expensive NEW game you've ever bought?

What's the most expensive NEW game you've ever bought? What made it worth all those pennies from Heaven? And do you still own it??

Well, its not a "Game" in itself but an extension to the ASL system: Armies of Oblivion. This will be my next purchase for the ASL series (currently in a Pre_order status): Doomed Battalions

Re: What's the most expensive NEW game you've ever bought?

World in Flames 2003 eition was the last boardgame I bought. I am sure it is the most expensive but do not remember the price. I never played that edition only the older 1985 version. I have every wargame I ever bought (missing some counters for sure however).

World in Flames...hmmmmm, I have to look that one up. I don't think I'm familiar with it. What's it cover, and what's it like?

Re: What's the most expensive NEW game you've ever bought?

WW2

Both Theaters

It is like Advanced 3rd Reich/Empire of the Rising Sun from Avalon hill but more detailed.

counters are division not corp
Individual plane types exist
Naval Air
Naval zones
6 weather zones
Supply

There are a number of MODs published by the game producer adding more detail

this one adds the Americas

As far as I know it is the most detailed strategic level game of the whole campaign for WW2.

It is supposed to be coming for the PC. I will buy as soon as it is annouced for pre-orders

Re: What's the most expensive NEW game you've ever bought?

Wow, that's impressive! I really would like to see that one set up and in play. I'll keep my eye open at Origins this year to see if someone is playing it. Thanks for the pictures!
