Question What game did you give a present that you regret not keeping for yourself?

Did you ever give a game as a present to someone that you later regret not keeping for yourself? What was it, and did you end up going out and buying another for yourself?

Re: What game did you give a present that you regret not keeping for yourself?

Its funny you asked this question Whiterook. This year at Christmas i bought one of my best friends a game called "Kings Table". Its the 1500 year old forerunner of Chess that was played by the Vikings and Nordic peoples. We ended up playing a bunch of games of it the night i gave it to him and i enjoyed it so much i wished i kept it for myself, LOL. I ended up buying a copy for myself, hehe.

Here is a link with more info for anyone thats interested in the game -

I've seen a 3-D game, I believe it's called "Cathedral"...looked very cool. Anyone familiar with it, and better yet play it?
