Photo album of Hitler's lover-niece up for grabs

London, Oct 23: The photo album of Adolf Hitler's niece Angela "Geli" Raubal, with whom the Nazi leader had a sexual relationship, is up for sale and experts believe it could fetch more than 2,000 pounds when it goes up for auction this week.

Experts believe many of the 35 intimate photographs were taken by Hitler himself, who later executed her after he came to know of her affair with a Jewish boy.

According to the Mirror, the album will be sold at Ludlow Racecourse, Shrops, on Wednesday.

A spokesman for auctioneers Mullock Madeley said: "Because of Hitler's kinky sexual relationship with his young niece we have had enormous interest".

Angela, daughter of Hitler's half-sister was found shot dead 75 years ago in the flat they shared in Munich. She was 23.

Munich police found her face down in a pool of blood, her blue nightdress drenched and torn from the single bullet from Hitler's Walter that had pierced through her heart.

According to archival report unearthed years after the war, Hitler himself killed Angela, while Munich police manipulated evidence to make the murder look like a suicide.

Chief police investigator Heinrich Muller, who later went on to become the Gestapo chief and the Bavarian Minister of Justice who became the Reich Minister of Justice when the Nazis rose to power in 1933, quickly closed the case without an autopsy.

Angela's body was also quickly taken out of Germany and buried in Vienna. Contrary to the norm, she was given a Catholic burial.
