The simplest way is to use attachments. To do so, click on the paper clip above the text entry area.
text_entry.gif

Assuming the photos are on your hard drive click the "Browse" button and find the location(s). When you are ready, click "Upload". When you are done, scroll to the bottom and clcik the button to close the window.
manage_attachments.gif

You can enter up to four photos per post and they will appear at the bottom (easiest way).

If you want them to appear within the text (like the ones above) click the arrow next to the paper clip after uploading the files and insert them by clicking on each in the list.

If you have more than four photos, simply make more posts and insert them.

We also have a Photo Gallery. The process for uploading is similar, and there is text at the bottom of each photo for inserting it into a post.

If you have problems, send me a private message and I can help you.

Re: The Call of Duty for Collectors!

Sounds like a great idea. I as well, don't have a lot of memorabilia, but think its a wonderful opportunity to see WWII stuff from different nations. Are you thinking of posting them here? or in the Gallery area?

Re: The Call of Duty for Collectors!

I posted my first medal photo in the general section, didn't know whether to post non-WWII stuff in the gallery section. Is the gallery section for all collectables, or just militaria, and WWII militaria at that?

You can post anything you like in the gallery, so long as it is remotely relevant. Those medals that you posted would be fine there or where you posted them. Either way, we're easy to get along with here.

I really don't have much, but if it will get this off the ground, count me in.
