I'm not sure if thats it. Its name is a "takedown"? I had to persuade the gun cleaners that got it better to not grind off the Imperial Navy insignia. Only about 6,000 of this weapon was produced.

Great keeper! I have several Mauzers,Enfields, Mosin's and more, but no Japanese. It still looks like a Arisaks.

Re: The Call of Duty for Collectors!

Can you show us some pictures? I guess I am not the only one interested to see them.

Cheers

Re: The Call of Duty for Collectors!

OK. This is a Turkish Mauser 1943 that I turned into a lamp. It shuts off and on using the trigger. The rounds are live. (for now) The ammo pouch holds the wiring. The bayo is bolted to the stand and only the sheath will come off. It was a parts gun,a wall hanger, so I stripped it and did some cold blueing etc. Not tooooo bad. And the date is incorrect.I just took these pics.
I'll have to change the date thing on the camera.

WOW, I love that lamp. I have been planning something similar with the wood stock of a Garand. Its ok people, no need to get twisted ove the idea of using a Garand stock like that. The stock is finished. Totally trashed to the point of being unserviceable for a weapon

Very cool Horch. And you got the hang of posting your own pics quickly! Are you sure it's not 2025?
