Question E-100, has anyone done one of these yet?

I got this one last month, and I have started it, a pretty basic kit, but I was wondering if anyone else has done one of these here.

I really give Dragon credit for doing these types, I also picked up the interesting Grasshopper (10.5cm le.F.H.18/6(Sf) auf Geschuetzwagon lll/lV), but the plastic is still intact, til' the "Maus" type is finished.

Cheers, no digital camera, but soon hopefully......

Did one when they first came out, did a horrible job and gave it away.
That grasshopper would be nice to do tho.

I've not built any n' probably won't. But that's me as I don't have the time to put out dozens of modells per week n' must prioritize, thus paperpanzers n' less known vehicles isn't interested for me to build.

Thanks for the comments, for myself, the more rare ones are about the only place I can go now. Once you do x kinds of the Tiger, Panther or more regular types, it's just to hard sometimes in spending a lot of cash on the almost the same kits year after year. The only "good" thing was that I lost a bunch of my earlier ones to not locking up my storage space

So the mood to re-revisit some of the basic kits will strike me again in the future. I also tend to focus on what types of armour I am running at in my games, if it's possible.
I think the Maus is the only other German kit that I hav'nt done, that I know about that you can still find from time to time.

Cheers, and before you ask, nope, I hav'nt "run" the E-100 or the Grasshopper, yet..... in a game.

Re: E-100, has anyone done one of these yet?

Not my thing really but still interesting. I have a book by Mig who features some other modellers work in it. An Aussie guy (forget his name) had superdetailed the Dragon E-100 and scratch build scores of parts. The muzzle of the main weapon has been re fashioned in stainless steel (oops I almost swore ). It has no fewer than 117 vent holes drilled into it. Some people have too much time on their hands I guess. I suppose my point is that the Dragon kit can be made into a stunning model despite its age.

Cool Re: E-100, has anyone done one of these yet?

Cool, were there any pics or links you could show me please? Doing that much detail is out of my reach, but one can always go for that as a goal, say by after you retire......

Cheers, thanks for the info!!
