Re: Workareas?
I have a 4-ft long table that collapses during the winter months. It serves for modelling, studying, and paying bills. Though I have noticed that the models seem to have taken over and everything else is along the far edge and stacked high.

Re: Workareas?
I must admit I need to do something about structuring my workplace. We have accumulated four spare tables (three kitchen - one large foldup) over the years.
At different times of the year they are used for other things (parties, dinners, horse ribbon sorting for shows). All unimportant stuff. The only way I have managed to keep one in the shed for myself has been to completely cover it with modelling gear. Now when I am modelling or painting I have to do that in the office, there is not enough room on the table in the shed. If only others would realise what was important around here. And no, I can't post a pic because I need to find my camera first. It's under something. |

Re: Workareas?
It's funny, but for years and years, I always had to be so creative in finding space to paint and game...usually on a kitchen table or a spare bedroom. I was rather lucky when we bought our current house...the previous owner was a wood-working fiend, and had a workbench in the basement by the washer/dryer area, which now serves as my modeling station; and a big shed built in the back yard outfitted with a work bench, wood stove and a small attic; with a smaller side room for a riding tractor. The shed was my solution for my Art studio, but has taken a back seat to fixing up the house first. But all being relative, it's amazing having dedicated space to my interests...it's never ben remotely near this nice, and I consider myself lucky indeed.

Re: Workareas?
Well, the first thing my eyes spied were the Avalon Hill Games covers...all favs with me...but please tell me those aren't actual box covers??? (As Porky Pig said in Apocalypse Now, "The howah, the howah!")
I got that same papertowel holder and lamp! I like the idea of the silverware tray for a tool holder...that's thinking out-of-the-box! |

Oh yeah, real covers. I cut them up before AH went out of business. I still have some uncut though, Gung Ho and Beyond Valor I think.
