Z-17, Dieter von Roeder, Narvik 1945 by Jonas Dahlberg

Here's another of Jonas Dahlbergs dioramas, this time it's his vision of the German Destroyer Z-17 Dieter von Roeder that was scuttled outside Narvik in 1940 by a mine that the crew set of after that she had taken damage in the battle against Royal Navy's destroyers that split her keel in two. The scale this time is 1:700. But this ain't the final pictures of the build (I couldn't locate 'em at the moment) so the "water" istn't fixed yet n' there's missing some PE above the water as well as a bird or two.

Thanks for posting these here McCoy. This dio in particular stands out for me for its originality. I'd love to see something similar in 1/350!
Peace.

Now that's clever...who thinks of using glass like that...oh wait, I'm warped enough to try it!
