New "Steals"

These resin kits have been in my custody a couple of weeks now since I bought 'em from a IPMS sellout.

CMK Driver/radio operator interior set for Tiger 1 (Dragon)
CMK PzKpfw III engine set (Tamiya)
Verlinden PzKpFw III Ausf. F-L Interior set (Tamiya)
The cost landed at 500 SEK for the lot plus 44 SEK postage.

I think that I've been bitten bad by the resin bug...

Re: New "Steals"

This lot have newly arrived to me from Hong Kong even if it sure took some time for the kits to get to me (roughly a month). 960 SEK includin' postage by airmail is more than a little bit cheaper than in Sweden considerin' that I would have landed at roughly the double amount. Too bad that the customs wanted their part of the deal in the form of 239 SEK VAT n' 60 SEK Administrative fee. But hey, it's cheaper anyway.

Re: New "Steals"

Pretty good stuff McCoy. I've heard that CMK stuff is pretty good too and you can't go wrong with Verlinden.

Re: New "Steals"

It seems to me like CMK is miles ahead of Verlinden just by comparision of my kits.

Where is the CMK stuff made ? I haven't seen any here at all.

That could be so. I've only read about CMK and yes, I believe they're Czech made...as a lot of good stuff is these days.

Re: New "Steals"

I am jealous McCoy,
Particularly over the MkIII resin interior and engine.
VERY, VERY NICE!

Re: New "Steals"

Here's some nice PE that I've recently bought for approximately 800 SEK alltogether.
