Well...It's not working is it? So I dont think it would be that much of a problem. If I start building an Airfield in my backyard, than they can be worried...

I'm sure. I live fairly near a large Naval Air Station where there are F/A-18's (Hornets and soon to be Super Hornets) and where there were the recently retired F-14's (Tomcats of "Top Gun" fame) and those are some loud jets when the flight patterns take them overhead.

Re: German World War II Focke Wulf 190 aircraft is salvaged

Technically I am not in a "crash zone" and not really in the highest noise zone either. My city (Virginia Beach) is right at the coast and much of the training is off-shore (except touch and goes which can go on for hours it seems). Some days, however, they rotate and the planes are right overhead, but they don't run routine training much very late at night.

Many of the carriers are based in Norfolk, next door. When they go out and come back the jets fly when the ships are a day out from the base, so a day after the ship leaves and a day before it arrives back from its deployment. Those days, when ALL of the squadrons are flying, they seem to routed right through my living room.

All things considered, it appears to be in pretty good shape. Better then I thought it would look considering it's been underwater for 63 years.

MY GOD MAN....that is one beautiful looking plane in decent shape. All they need to do is replace the engine and away we go.

Ain't that a stunner! It seems the sea has preserved the Balkenkreuz and Swastika well.

Here is a Finnish Brewster plans shot down into some bog. The bog has preserved the Finnish Swastika (the symbol of one of the founders/business helpers of Finnish forces in the late 1910s) very well.
