Re: My military dvd library - you rate it!

Maybe four or five years or so, I generally don't buy any when they first come out being the cheapskate I am! I wait.....and wait and if you wait long enough you'd be amazed at what you can pick up for a bargain! Many of these I've managed to buy brand new for $5-10 - whoo hoo! Same with my non-military dvd collection, I watch new shows for a few episodes and if I like what I see, I usually don't watch any more on tv, I wait for the box set and then power through the whole season in a week or so. Then I just keep on buying the next seasons on dvd and don't even bother watching any more on tv. And because I've got so many still to get through, (my to watch/to read piles are ever growing!) I don't have to rush out and buy the latest season as soon as it comes out, I can wait a few months (or even a year) and get it way cheaper! As it stands now, I have over 20 seasons of various tv shows to watch, some I got for a song! Picked up a couple of Dukes of Hazzard and I Dream of Jeannie seasons for about $15 each! That works out to about 65 cents an episode - sweeeeet! Onto the pile they go! I shall post a new list of non-military dvds soon!
