Re: What's your favorite World War II movie?
India you say? A friend of mine went to India to stay there for a year. But don´t you ask me where exactly he went.
Has anone seen "Der Untergang"? If memory serves me right the english title is "The Downfall". @ Paulus II: "Das Boot" is a classic. One of the few descent flic made by Wolfgang Peterson. btw: the same U-boat was used in "Raiders of the lost ark"

So many to choose from but Memphis Belle must be one of my favourites.
Anyone remember 'The Victors'-Now why has that movie never been seen on TV or VHS/DVD? Remember too 'Ice Cold in Alex', 'Bridge on the River Kwai' and 'The Guns of Naverone'-All classics |

The Great Escape for an up-lifting day.
Schindlers List for a depressing jolt. Das Boot to hope the ending is different this time and they survive!!! ,and the t.v. series Allo Allo for a laugh(based on the original BBC series Secret Army). |

I have to chime in for 2,Patton and that great British flick....The Battle of Britian. My problem with watching these kind of movies I start yelling at the TV when the show or say a historical inaccuarcy.Such as at the beginning of Schindlers List,he is putting on a Gold Party badge. These were bestowed by Hitler and Oscar Schindler was not a reciepient.
