I never saw that but we had Hogan's Heroes for a laugh here. In fact I have the first three seasons on DVD.

Re: What's your favorite World War II movie?

I personally love any war movie. I dont really have a favorite but ill name a few. BoB, Saving Private Ryan, U-571. But basically show me a war show and youve got my attention. Pear Harbor is one of the worst movies out there. It was terrible. lol.
You cant find band of brothers? Ive seen it everywhere. Its pretty expensive though. Only downside. it was about $88 last i checked. You could find it online if its not near you.

U-571? That's that flick starring Jon Bongiovi right? I don't want to hurt your feelings but in my humble Opinion this movie sucked big time. Correct me if I'm wrong but it was the Tommies who captured the ENIGMA and not the Americans, right?

Although it was pretty cool seeing Jon getting decapitated.

You mean jon bon jovi? like the rocker? Jon bon jovi wasnt in that movie. if he is then i didnt recognize him. I also dont remeber anyone getting decapitated in that movie. It was alright i mean. Nothing special. Just listing it as a movie.

Re: What's your favorite World War II movie?

@ 515: Yep Jon bon Jovi. I was just using his itlaian name. Sorry.
If you don't see any decapitation it propably the cencored version of the movie. Watch the movie again. you'll see he suddenly isn't with the crew anymore. After the attack of the planes.

Another good movie: "The great Dictator"

Re: What's your favorite World War II movie?

I liked "Der Untergang" very much. They sold the movie everywhere when I visited London. And if they sell it in England they sure sell it in the states too. shouldn't be too hard to come by. it was nominated for an Oscar.

Do a search for "The Downfall". You're sure to hit something.

Hope you can find it. it is one of the best Hitler-acting I've ever seen.

Joseph Goebbels: I feel no sympathy. I repeat, I feel no sympathy! The German people chose their fate. That may surprise some people. Don't fool yourself. We didn't force the German people. They gave us a mandate, and now their little throats are being cut!
