Re: New Stickey : Guess that Title

Spyforce was a series McCoy and it was on very late...actually past my bed time. I've really only seen a few episodes. They've been repeating it in the last ten years but again...very late. Okay lads...here's mine. Maybe a bit harder for non-Americans but my mates and I loved this show. On weeknights after school. Sorry if the pics are tiny. These are two of the five main characters.

Rat Patrol,
Christopher George in the top photo and I forget that Hauptman's namen.
I got a couple of years on you Geek, I remember when this show was new and on "prime-time" here in the states. Always wanted a Jeep with a 50. calibre on it after that. Don't remember which night it came on, Saturday at 8 I think, but I do remember when Combat came on, that was Tuesday nights at 8, used to sneak out of bed and hide behind the Old Man's recliner to watch that.

Good Stuff, Good Stuff Indeed!

The good Hauptmans namen was Dietrich. Real name, Hans Gudagest although he has since changed it. He also has a couple of parts in the TV series "Combat".

I think Hagen has verified my "kill", so I'll take the liberty of posting the next one.

Re: New Stickey : Guess that Title

Too easy huh Dave? Man... we used to watch The Rat Patrol after school every afternoon and play Rat Patrol at school. It was on just before Get Smart. I must've been seven or nine years old...just the kind of thing a kid WW2 buff dreamed about. Isn't the Hauptmann in The Young and the Restless now? Maybe we're about forty years behind the US with that show. He's so tanned he looks like he was carved out of wood.

Give you another hint:
The "Duke" was in it, so was Anthony Quinn.

Although I hate to be able to second your comment. YES the Hauptmann is now on the soap opera The Young and the Breastless. He plays a character named Victor Newman and has done so for at least 20 years.

I blame my mother for me knowing this. LOL

Just in case some of you are not aware, The Rat Patrol is now available on DVD. I have seen season 1 for sure available, and I think I have season 2 also. They are rather pricey IIRC $65.00 CDN for the first season.
