Von Manstein's defeat of the Russians at Kharkov in late 1942-early 43 was a stunning victory.

Zhukov at Moscow for me. Sure the Germans were straining, but he inflicted the first major defeat on Das Heer.

Heinrici's stand at the Moscow Front in 1941 was a brilliant piece of generalship. Not so much a victory but that he managed to hold the line at all was a miracle!
