Following is a letter from Eisenhower to his superior, General Marshall, from April 15, 1945 regarding a variety of issues including visiting a recently liberated concentration camp at Gotha (Ohrdruf, a subcamp of Buchenwald). I found his comments regarding Montgomery, and especially about Patton, interesting. From
Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Library.
