Articles / der Erste Zug This is the top resource I found for all the little things to make your German Impression that much better. I find their anatomy of a soldbuch article the best resource for those of us putting together soldbuchs.
LANDSER Home Page From the sound of it this site is maintained by guys that were a GD unit at some point hence a lot of GD related items and interviews. But it gives one of the greatest overviews of general uniforms and items I've seen. And their anatomy of the German rank structure is THE BEST and actually classifies everything correctly and even identifies Hauptfeldwebels.
US:
GI Intelligence Dept. An excellent reference for US impressions that covers a lot of things concerning medics, general field manuals and the minor things to make your impression better. They also have an extensive collection of actual Army documents that you can print and fill out to improve your impression or display.
